Our Baby Nursery Photos

As some of you may or may not be aware my beautiful wife Heidi is 36 weeks pregnant and expecting our first child.  I thought I would do a quick post with a few images of the baby’s nursery.  We decided to paint and carpet that end of the house so it is all fresh and ready for the little one.  Not only do I hate painting but I am possibly the messiest painter in the world.  So lucky we decided to put carpet down to cover up the mess.

Heidi has set up the room quite well and we have been spoilt with clothes, stuffed toys etc from excited friends and family – also Heidi is partial to a bit of shopping, so I think she has enjoyed buying plenty of baby paraphernalia.  Who knew such a little person needs so many things!!

Check out the pics below.

Yes I painted the striped wall and yes it was a pain in the #$%$.

above is the view the baby will have looking up from the cot

These glow eggs are the coolest, it lets you know the temperature of the room and glows a certain colour depending on if the room is hot or cold.  So you can walk past the room and if it is glowing blue you know it is too cold or red it too hot.

Heidi’s talented sister Kristy painted this picture for the room, very clever

This rocking horse or elephant was mine when I was a child.  It was originally pine but we painted it and now 30yrs on it will be getting used again.  Toys have certainly changed a bit.

As you can see we have every stuffed toy under the sun, but we have also put some photos up there until I can take some when the baby decides to come out and meet us.  I think it will be the most photographed baby in Melbourne.  We have a picture of our other baby (dog) Stella, all our nephews and niece and a 20 week ultras0und picture of he or she?
