September weddings

With spring upon us (bring on spring carnival)  the weather seems to have turned in our favour.  The last three weddings we have done were beautiful sunny day’s.  I am going to try and post images on all my weddings so I thought I would post these three before my wedding today.

Ashleigh & Jason got married last Friday at Bram Leigh Receptions and they were both a lot of fun to photograph.  They were a pretty stylish couple so I tried to capture that in the images.

There were some cool old rustic sheds at Jason’s parents house which worked well in these shots.

Ashleigh getting ready.

Ashleigh’s dress was a beautiful flowing dress which worked well in this shot.

I like to get down and include the sky in the background on days where it is bright blue for some added colour.

Derry & Eric were the first wedding couple to book from the new studio and they got married on Saturday at Lakeside Cottagein Kilsyth.  Lakeside cottage is a new venue that has just started operating and is fantastic for garden weddings.  Derry & Eric are a lovely couple and just wanted fun, natural shots of them and their families.

The ring wouldn’t fit!

There is a fantastic view of the Dandenongs from the front of the property.

The classic cars really suited the day and the venue.

You can get some great candids of kids at weddings.

A nice moment just before the cutting of the cake.

Shane & Tara got married on the 6th of September at White Chapel in Langwarrin, like most of our couples they are very laid back and just wanted some fun arty images of their day.

When you make it fun for them you can get some great shots like this that have real emotion.

The boys enjoying a beer before the ceremony.

Their son Cooper didn’t know what all the fuss was about and just wanted to play his computer game.

Shane might look pretty relaxed but he was quite nervous in this shot just minutes before the ceremony.

After the ceremony we went down to the beach at Mornington and got some striking images of the happy couple.
