The weddings continue

I had it a little easier this weekend with the two weddings and being a long weekend I got the Sunday off in between which was nice.  We kicked off on Saturday with Maria & Joe’s wedding, we did Joe’s sister Grace and her husband Adam’s wedding only 6 weeks ago so the Licata family have had a very busy couple of months.

It was held at the International of Brighton and was decorated by Elegant Weddings who did a fantastic job.  Maria’s dress was a 4month masterpiece in the making by her dress making brother Vince and as you can see by the pictures below was just stunning.

A cool shot of Joe taken before he headed off to the ceremony.

An artistic shot of the dress hanging up.

A beautiful dress needs some bling shoes, it’s all about the accessories.

I saw this beautiful painting and couldn’t help setting this shot up that I think has a real renaissance feel about it.

Joe arrived on the back of a harley and this is an image of the boys admiring the bike.

This was taken in the foyer of the church just before Maria walked down the aisle, I just saw the most amazing light hitting the back of the dress so I took a quick snap and got this shot.  Sometimes you just get lucky!

A few fun shots down an alley way in the city which really suited the couple.

We headed down to the Brighton Beach Boxes for a few quick snaps before the reception and it was blowing a gale.  This can make it hard to take photos but if you work it properly and the bride has a long veil it can work a treat.

One last shot in front of the International of Brighton before heading in.

Ready to party the night away.

Brooke and Luke got married on Monday at the Police Academy Chapel and then onto the RACV club in the city.  The bridal party was heaps of fun and really got into the swing of it which made for some great shots.

The boys enjoying a beer and a laugh in the morning.

The vase in this shot holding Brooke’s beautiful bouquet was a present given to her from Luke 12years ago when they first started seeing each other so I had to grab a shot.

Brooke like Maria also had an amazing dress and I managed to get a nice shot of the back of it through the veil which was Brooke’s mums when she got married.

I love bright coloured walls, the contrast with the black and white of weddings makes them really stand out, I found this in one of the bedrooms.

The Police Academy has some beautiful hallways for photos and the thing that really appealed to me about this shot is the reflection on the floor.

I love the shots where the couple are engaged with one another and I capture that moment like the shot below.

How cool is this shot, I love it.

With a little help from Luke holding the veil we got this great actions shot.

The forecast wasn’t good so we had the umbrellas handy, even though we didn’t end up needing them we used them for this fun image of the girls.

Luke cracking a joke, must of been funny!

This wall near the RACV Club was great for a few last shots before heading in.

The view from the room was amazing.
