I have been a bit slack lately with the blog but it has been quite busy at JD Digital Photography the last few weeks. The weather at my last few weddings has been quite bizarre and we have had a mix of everything, but as you will see from the pictures it doesn’t matter if it rains or even hails we can still get great shots of your wedding.
Krystal & Joe had a bit of everything for their wedding a few weeks ago and as you can see from the picture below they even got hail. It actually hailed about 3 or 4 times during the day but they both took it in their stride and didn’t let it effect their big day.

This shots of the girls isn’t technically the best shot but I love the emotion it has captured.

A bit of fun with the rose petals and making the most of the sun.

A nice moment between Krystal & Joe.

This is one of the shots they really wanted with the Windsor Hotel in the background, I played around with the colour to give it a real romantic feel.

The architecture at Parliament is stunning and suited what Krystal & Joe wanted perfectly.

Having a bit of fun in front of the big rubix cube in the Carlton Gardens.

Popcorn anyone?

A nice shot to finish off the day at Ascot House.

Emily & Daniel got married in the Dandenongs at Lyrebird Falls. The weather in the morning was great but once we got up the hill it didn’t stop raining which made it a little more difficult to get some pictures. Emily and Daniel were great and with the aid of a few umbrellas we managed to get some great shots and have a bit of fun in the rain in the process.
Here is Daniel and the boys playing a bit of guitar hero.

Daniel turning it on for the camera.

I love the simplicity of this photo and Emily looks stunning.

This image has quite an angelic feel to it.

I placed the flash behind Emily to get this high key shot.

Even though it is pouring rain she still has a smile on her face.

And coming out of the chapel after just getting married I think they were that happy they didn’t notice the rain.

There is something romantic about rain and it make all the colours really vibrant.

It is a bit small here to do this shot justice but as a large image it has quite a lot of impact.

The whole bridal party having a bit of fun.

Geraldine & Suresh got married on Saturday and had their reception and Star International in Preston. We were a bit luckier with the weather on this occasion and got some fantastic shots of their day.
I like the perspective of this image of the boys trying to get their flowers on.

A bit of cricket to get the day rolling

I liked the two African carvings on the wall so I placed Geraldine under them for a staged portrait.

The cute little flowergirl just before the ceremony.

I like the candid nature of this image and the breeze caught the veil at the right time to give the image some movement.

The cool alleyway shot.

A nice relaxed portrait of the whole bridal party.

We headed down Collins Street to get this nice shot of Geraldine & Suresh.

You can really do anything when you are with a bridal party including stopping traffic.

We found this cool wall at the Park Hyatt and grabbed a few shots.

It is always funny capturing the brides expression when the garter is being taken off.

We stopped off at Parliament for a few night shots to finish the day.
