Jill & Matt were married on Saturday at the beautiful Chateau Yering in the Yarra Valley, I love shooting weddings in the Yarra Valley as there are so many unique venues with fantastic views of the hills and plus it is close to home!
The day was a perfect 28 degrees, the sun was shining and the flies were out in force but Jill & Matt didn’t let that bother them at all and were so wrapped up in each other during the ceremony I don’t think they even noticed the flies.
Jill was in love with her shoes so I made sure I got a good shot to show them off, what is it with girls and shoes?
I love how the light shows off the line of the dress in this strong portrait.

It’s great capturing the natural moments and emotion of the ceremony and this one was no exception it was really personal and well though out.
Jill & Matt got each of their grandparents to sign the certificate as the witnesses which I thought was a really nice touch and they were very chuffed with themselves as you can see below.
You can pose all the shots you want but it doesn’t mean much if you can’t get the emotion in the shots and make it look natural like below.
We finished off a fantastic day with a few shots experimenting with the sun again.
