It has been another busy week, we have been getting orders ready for Christmas and on Tuesday we had a bus tour of photographers through our studio to see our setup and answer some questions on how we run our portrait and wedding business which was a lot of fun and a bit daunting. I thought I would get Col & Fiona’s wedding up before another big weekend of three weddings, hope the weather holds out!
I travelled up to Shepparton two weeks ago to photograph Col & Fiona’s wedding, I had been looking forward to it for a while as I haven’t shot a ‘bush’ wedding for a while and they had some great locations scouted out for me to photograph. I think my mum appreciated it to as I got to go back home and visit for a couple of nights so I had accommodation, some lovely meals cooked for me and a few quite (or is that quite a few) beers on the deck.
It was a bright, hot sunny day which is exactly what I was hoping for as I knew it would really help having that sort of light with the locations we picked out. We had a great time trouncing around Shepparton and Dookie with the bridal party and my car turned into a bridal car after one of the official cars broke down on the way to the ceremony!
It was such a great day and as you can see from the pictures and the bridal party were happy and relaxed which allowed the day to flow really well, as with most bridal parties if you let them have a few drinks and a bit of fun while doing the photos they are much more receptive and willing to pose it up for me!
