How is the heat we are having! We have had to reschedule shoots and appointments all week to escape the heat but you can’t really reschedule a wedding so Julie & Anthony who’s wedding I have tomorrow are hoping the cool change comes sooner rather than later, fingers crossed guys.
Unlike this week we had perfect weather for last weekends weddings, Kylie & Dylan got married at Chateau Wyuna on Saturday in a casual affair that really suited them both and I think I captured their relationship well in the images from the day.
You can get some great shots of the girls doing up the brides dress, this is the part of the day where you get a lot of nervous energy and excitement (generally from the bridesmaids) generated as if putting on the dress symbolises it is really happening.

Kylie’s dad was proud as punch walking her across the bridge and down the aisle.

I love this shot where Kylie is looking at Dylan during the ceremony.

I have always found it a strange tradition to give the bride horseshoes etc as good luck, but they can make for a cool photo.

As with most weddings this time of year the sun is blazing in the sky, you can use this light to your advantage, by placing the sun behind the bride & groom you get a real etherial feel to the images.

I played around with this image a bit to give it a rustic old look, I think it has a real romantic feel to it.

Kylie’s mum made the cake which looked fantastic and tasted even better – thanks!

One last shot of the happy couple in the bridal room.

Danielle & Michael tied the knot on Sunday in Noble Park then onto Atlantic at the Docklands which is an amazing venue. Danielle was a bit nervous about the photos but the pre wedding shoot put her at ease and we got some beautiful, fun photos as a result.
Michael and the boys were pretty laid back and loved the photo shoot.

A simple elegant shot of the flowers.

Danielle accessorising with some beautiful jewelry.

We went down to Brighton Beach which was packed because of the long weekend but we managed to get some shots so it looks like they were the only people on the beach.

The girls and guys hamming it up for the camera.

I love long veils and Danielle’s was very long – we used it to our advantage and got a great shot through the veil as the wind took it.

A fun group shot.

With Telstra Dome in the background we thought a footy theme shot was needed – what a grab!

A nice shot on the dock with the Bolte Bridge in the background.

The room looked amazing!
