 The idea has evolved over time, I wanted to create art pieces that people could get lost in – part voyeuristic with mystique and wonderment.  The basic idea behind it is nudes in the landscape taken with a bellows lens to get a distorted feel but that wasn’t enough, I also wanted people viewing the images to think about each image, what the meaning is and what it is trying to say.

Here is a little sneak peak at one of the finished images taken on the first shoot for this project at Kalorama on sunrise, feedback welcome.

The images below are a selection of what I have taken around the Brighton, St Kilda, Beaumaris and Black Rock area in the last few weeks.  They will also be available to buy as limited edition prints on canvas so if you are keen please email me through your interest to johl@jddigitalphotog.com

This year we tried again and although I thought it was the best shoot we had done we didn’t make it, but I thought I would share the images anyway and see what you think.  These were actually taken mid last year but the rules of the competition state that you can’t publish the images anywhere until judging has been finalised.

We went for some crazy hairstyles and outfits for this shoot and even though we didn’t make the finals I still think they rock! Enjoy.
