I was shocked and didn’t quite believe it when it was bought to my attention that I had been named the Creative Asia Wedding Photographer of the Year, I didn’t even realise that I had made the top 25 finalist in the wedding category. I know these awards are quite subjective and quite a bit of luck is involved in what judges you get etc but none the less I am very happy to take the award. Getting this recognition in a way justifies to me the countless hours I have put in over the last 10 years to not only photographing 100′s of amazing weddings but in training, seminars and development that I undertake to make sure I am the best I can be for my clients.
Below is the image that won the title, it is just one of those images that came about almost by accident and I knew as soon as I took it I had a special image. Sometime the harder you work the luckier you get!!
