Well after a little hiatus from the blog due to the crazy Christmas/New Year/wedding season rush I have finally got time to post a wedding. I have photographed quite a few weddings over this time and will endeavour to catch up you all up on most of them but for now here is Kelly & Pete’s wedding.
This was a wedding I was looking forward to for some time as I photographed Kelly’s sister and brother-in-laws wedding (Lauren & Michael’s) a few years ago so I knew it was going to be fun as well as catching up with a few familiar faces which is also nice.
And it didn’t disappoint, I had a ball with the bridal party and the family throughout the day and we got some beautiful images which was helped by some beautiful weather (finally!)We started in Eltham for the ceremony and bridal party shots before heading to Docklands for the reception via Hosier Lane for some funky graffiti photos inbetween.
I love catching up with couples, bridal parties and families that I have photographed before, it gives the day a more intimate feeling for me and is very satisfying knowing that you are capturing a piece of a families history that you have got to know so well.
