Once again the rain came but as has been the case the last few weeks we just rolled with it and got some beautiful images that just captured the day and the relationship Carissa & Rowan have perfectly. This is the third wedding I have photographed around the Shepparton area this year and I still have one more before new years. Iit is great gettting away from the city for something different and country weddings tend to have a very relaxed feel to them which suits me fine.
Carissa & Rowan met at high school and I knew them both from back then but hadn’t really seen them for a good 10yrs so it was a pleasant surprise when they called up wanting to come into the studio for a consultation after noticing that I was a wedding photographer on facebook (got to love social networking!). Once they decided to book I was really looking forward to photographing the wedding and I wasn’t disappointed, it was really well put together and it is quite obvious they are very much suited to each other (which was evident from the bridal dance!) – sorry haven’t got a video but it was quite entertaining.
The ceremony and wedding were held at the beautiful Olive Grove just out of Shepparton and we ventured into town for a few photos to a little bar called Bojazz to get out of the rain.
